Julie (Panther) Norwood

Mrs. Julie Panther Norwood, age 73, of York, SC, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at her home.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. The memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Julie was born on September 18, 1952, in Gastonia, NC. She was the daughter of the late William Panther and Mary Annabelle Ray Panther.

She is survived by her daughter Marie Tovar (Ruben), her siblings Brian Panther, Michael Panther, Rhonda Trapp, and Donna Panther. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her daughters, Leighann Johnson, Beth Spake and Tina Carroll, and her brothers, Charles Panther and Tommy Panther.
