John Smith YORK John Steven Smith, 64, died Thursday, January 26, 2012, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. The funeral will be at11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Barry Lambert officiating. Burial will be at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church Cemetery. John was a son of the late John William and Mary Goldia Belvin Smith. He retired from Winn Dixie as a maintenance supervisor, worked in the Engineering Department at Piedmont Medical Center, and was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Ann Leopard Smith, daughter, Hannah Smith Rankin (Murray) of Charlotte, NC, son, Zachary Tyler Smith (Tracy) of York, SC, sister, Brenda Stowe and her fianc George Maples of Belmont, NC, nephew Richard Parks Stowe, Jr., and three grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, January 27, 2012 at Bratton Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, P O Box 993 Rock Hill, SC 29731.
