John Earnest Conrad, III

Mr. John Earnest “Mudhole” Conrad III, age 61, of McConnells, SC passed away at his home on Sunday, January 19th, 2025.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

John was born on August 23, 1963 in Coshocton, Ohio. He was the son of the late John Earnest Conrad II and Linda Lyons Conrad. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked as a machinist at York Filtration Group. John graduated from Ridgewood High School in Coshocton, Ohio in 1983. He was a family man and loved traveling to his home town to visit his loved ones. John enjoyed cooking for his family in his cast iron dutch oven.  He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, and riding his four-wheeler with his friends, especially Randy Drumm. And he enjoyed spending his quite time with dog his Runt watching T V.

John is survived by his ex-wife/friend, Alberta Harvey Conrad; his daughters, Amber Conrad (Matthew Carpenter), Mandy Conrad (Phillip “Kyle” Hullett) and his step son Dwayne Blankenship (Chantelle). He is also survived by his grandchildren Elijah Carpenter and Havannah “Rosie” Hullett. Along with his brother Brian Conrad and sister Stephanie Conrad Moore (Joseph), and his dog “Runt”.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by his step son Nick Blankenship and his granddaughter Hannah Nicole.
