John Campbell Adams

Mr. John Campbell Adams, age 81, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at Bethel PCA, 2445 HWY 557 Clover, SC, with Pastor Trent Thomas and Pastor Robby Bell officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church Fellowship Hall

John was born on September 30th, 1941 in York County. He was the son of the late Manley Jimmy Adams and Margaret Rebekah Thomasson Adams. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, retired as an engineer from Duke Power, and a member of Bethel PCA in Clover, SC. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Bass Adams.

John is survived by his wife, Becky Hensley Adams; children: Angela McCarter (Michael), Randy Adams (Heather), Doug Adams, Jack Reel (Jenna), Aaron Reel (Lesley), and Jonathan Reel (Kim). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Mandy McCarter, Kelley McCarter, Nick Adams, Darby Adams, Caroline Adams, Jackson Reel, Preston Reel, Peyton Reel, Laney Reel, and Caleb Reel; and his siblings, Barbara Adams Douglas (Chris), David Adams (Yvonne “Peanut”), and Larry Adams (Cathy).
