Joe William Hope

Mr. Joe William Hope, age 95, of York, SC passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy. York, SC 29745. The funeral service will be at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church, 1184 North Shiloh Road York, SC 29745 on Friday January 26 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tom McPhail and Rev/Dr. John White officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Joe was born on August 19, 1928 in York County, SC. He was the son of the late William Glenn Hope and Fannie Dulin Patrick Hope and the widower of Grace Glenn Hope. He was a life time member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church. Joe was a US ARMY veteran of the Korean War.

Joe is survived by two special nieces, Evelyn L. Ball and Cathy Love. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his son Randy Hope and his sister Mary Jane Caywood.
