Joan Hollingsworth Lewis

Helen Joan Hollingsworth Lewis, of 4641 Hickory Grove Road passed away Thursday November 7, 2024. at her home in Sharon.

 A memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church with Rev. Max Russell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church.

Joan was a daughter of the late Edgar Monroe Hollingsworth and Frances Adelade Conner Hollingsworth. And the widow of Robert Keith Lewis, Sr. whom she had been married to for 59 years. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her children, son Robert Keith Lewis, Jr. (Cindy), daughter Denise Lewis Rankin of Sharon, SC, and son Chet Monroe Lewis (Cathy) of Sharon, SC. Grandchildren, Melissa Liles, Crystal Biggers, DJ Rankin, Debby Shipman, Samantha Laney, Jessica Keith, and, Shawn Rankin. Great grandchildren, Gavin Atwood, Henry Biggers, Gabby Shipman, Kaylynn Laney, Casey Shipman, Levi Laney, Sawyer Keith, Jack Liles, Sadie Keith.

In addition to her parents and husband Joan was also preceded in death by her sister Betty Jean McGirt.

 Memorials may be made to Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, PO Box 189, Sharon, SC 29742.
