Jimmy Ray Robbins, Sr.

Jimmy Ray Robbins, Sr., (Paw Paw) (French Fry), age 69, of York, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on August 9th, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Kingdom Church, 2105 Old York Rd York, SC. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation in the church with the Rev. Roger Shuford officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Filbert Hwy, York, SC.

Jimmy was born in York, SC on November 15th, 1955 to the late William A. Robbins and Mary Ruth Martin. He was always known for his selfless character, ready to help anyone in a moment’s notice.

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Mary Ruth Martin, his spouse Rebecca Robbins, his children Jimmy Ray Robbins, Jr., (Steva Elswick), Tabbatha Passmore, Jason Robbins, (Brittney Robbins) and his brother Gene Robbins (Sara Robbins). He was also survived by his grandchildren, Brandi Robbins, Cindy Hamilton (Dockery Hamilton), Samantha Robbins, Austin Robbins, Payton Robbins, Brinkli Robbins, Josie Robbins, and Laiken Welch and his great grandchildren, Aiden Hamilton, Bonnie Hamilton, and Karleigh Hamilton.  

In addition to his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother Roger Robbins.
