Jimmy Bailes

Mr. Jimmy Bailes, age 69, of Patrick, SC passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at Beersheba Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 130 S. Beersheba Rd. Clover, SC 29710, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 with Reverend Marion Jones officiating.

Jimmy was born on February 14, 1957 in York, SC. He was the son of the late Roy H. Bailes, Sr. and Martha Jane Snipes Bailes.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Freeman Bailes; his siblings, Faye Johnson, Leigh Burrell (Randy), Ann Griffin (Wayne), Barbara Singletary (Paul), Bobby Bailes, Roy Bailes, Jr. (Darlene), and Marvin Bailes (Cathy); his special friend, Lois Bailes, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Dover, and his brothers, Billy Bailes, Red Bailes, and Johnny Bailes.
