Jeffrey Duncan Carmichael

Mr. Jeffrey Duncan Carmichael, age 61, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Piedmont Medical Center in Fort Mill, SC.

Jeffrey was born on July 29, 1964 in Annapolis, MD. He was the son of the late Robert Joseph Carmichael and Grace Evelyn Iglehart Carmichael. He was a supervisor of plant maintenance for W.R. Grace and was a member of Rawlinson Road Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. Jeffrey enjoyed welding and various metal work in his free time, and relaxed by smoking meat, fishing, and gardening.

He is survived by his children, Rachel Elliott, Kyle Carmichael (Amber), and Ben Carmichael; his grandchildren: Kyleigh, Lillian, Logan, and Melanie Carmichael; and his sisters, Cynthia Carmichael (Kenneth) and Alice Tanner (Daniel).

A memorial service celebrating Jeffrey’s life will be held by Rawlinson Road Baptist Church, 1024 Rawlinson Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732, at 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
