Jean Frances Scott

Jean Frances Scott, of Sharon SC, died Friday August 14, 2026.

Born on September 20, 1949, Frances was the daughter of the late Robert Bolivar Scott and Helen Moore Scott. She was also predeceased by her brother Robert B. Scott Jr.

Frances is survived by her daughter Helene Neely of Sharon SC; her sons Philip Hamer Jr. (Emilia) of Suwanee GA and Robert Hamer of Sharon, SC; her brothers Allen Scott (Joanni) of Maple Valley WA and William Scott of Rock Hill SC; her grandchildren Sarah Lewis, Harleigh Neely, Aelwen Hamer and Arthur Hamer; and her great-grandchildren, Carter Lewis and Heartlee Lewis.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:00 at Rose Hill Cemetery in York, SC. Chaplain Roger Shuford will be officiating.
