Jane Elizabeth (Montgomery) Hoffman

Jane Elizabeth Montgomery Hoffman, age 82, of Sharon, SC passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Jane was born on January 21, 1941, in Smyrna, SC to the late Harvey Morris Montgomery and Vergie Howell Montgomery.

Jane was an LPN for 42 years, working for Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC and retiring from White Oak Manor Nursing Home in York, SC as well as a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Sharon Volunteer Fire Department, and a former EMT with the York Rescue Squad. Jane was also a lifelong member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, David Michael Hoffman, as well as her children, Robert Morris Hoffman (Kim), and Nancy Irene Falls (Jeff).  In addition, she is survived by  her grandchildren, Stacy Elizabeth Falls, Harriet Kimberly Falls, Jeffrey David Falls, Kasey Nichole Hoffman; and her sisters, Doris Youngblood (Bud) and Laura McKnight (Jack).

 Visitation for the family will be held at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in the Sanctuary, 3852 Woodlawn St. Sharon, SC, on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 PM. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Sam Roberson and Rev. Ed Melvin officiating.
