James Strong Obituary

Mr. James “Jim” Blades Strong, age 78, of Fort Mill, SC passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

James was born on June 6, 1945 in Wilmington Delaware. He was the son of the late Willia Simpson Strong and Imogene Blades Strong. He is a member of All Saints Anglican Church in Weddington, NC. Jim had a long career as the owner of a commercial laundry service in Charlotte. He was a lover of old cars especially Jaguars and Austin Healeys. He was a Revolutionary War re-enactor and a member of the New Acquisition Militia of Rock Hill. He was a volunteer at Historic Brattonsville and Andrew Jackson State Park. He will be fondly missed by his many friends.
