James Lee Branham

James Lee Branham, 93, of York, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. The family will receive friends from 4-5 PM on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Eastview Baptist Church, 1430 Gordon Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732. A funeral service celebrating James’s life will begin in the church sanctuary at 5 PM with Rev. Chris Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery.

James was born on January 17, 1932 to the late Fletcher and Alma Craft Branham. He was the widower of Alma Reynolds Branham to whom he had been married for 69 years. In addition to his parents and wife, James was also preceded in death by his son James “Jimmy” Branham. James was a long-time active member of Eastview Baptist Church. He retired from the Rock Hill Bleachery after 45 years. He also retired as a Master Sergeant after 29 years of service with the Army National Guard.

James is survived by his grandchildren, Chris Branham (Jessica), Will Branham (Randi), his daughter- in- law, Beth Branham, and great grandchildren, Eli, Isabelle, Anderson and two on the way, Annabelle and William Branham. He is also survived by his sisters- in- law Margie Branham, Eddie Mae Reynolds and brother - in – law William Reynolds. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews as well.
