James Neil Cobb Sr.

James Neil Cobb, Sr. April 17, 1930 - September 29, 2023 Husband, father, grandpa, uncle, veteran, coach and lifelong sports enthusiast, “Big Jess” enjoyed his retirement years with friends and family close to home. Born in York County, SC to the late Robert and Cora Goble Cobb, Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife of 67 years, Susan Cobb, and his 4 sons Jimmy, Kenny (Deb), Jesse (Nikki), Wesley (Shane), and 1 daughter Anna Yandle (and her ex-husband David). Mr. Cobb was predeceased by his loving eldest granddaughter Elise and is survived by 7 other beloved grandchildren: Walker, Mary Catherine, Hannah, Michael (Alaina), Maygan, Tyler, and Addison. “Uncle Jim” as he was also known to many, leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews whom he adored- and their precious families.
