James Thomas Carr

James Thomas Carr, 77, of York, SC passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

A graveside service will be held at 4 PM on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Kings Mountain Chapel UMC Cemetery, 1130 Philbeck Rd. York, SC 29745. The family will receive friends in the cemetery from 3-4 PM before the service.

James was born on January 13, 1944 in York County, SC. He was the son of the late Guy Carr and Ada Hill Carr and was the widower of Helen Davis Carr.

James is survived by his daughter, Crystal Taylor, grandchildren, April Bickford, Adin Taylor, great grandchildren, Jackson Bickford, Parker Bickford, and siblings: Ann Clark, Garnell Ramsey, George Carr and his wife Peggy.

In addition to his parents and wife, James was preceded in death by his brother, William Carr and sisters, Elzie Lanier, and Frances Ramsey.
