Irene (Tolley) Davis

Mrs. Irene Kelly Tolley Davis, age 90, of Clover, SC passed away on Monday, May 20th, 2024.

Irene was born on May 11th, 1934 in Sylva, NC. She was the daughter of the late James Tolley and Laura Callahan Tolley Conner, and was the widow of Charles “Bud” Davis. She worked in the cafeteria of Western Carolina University and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. She loved her family, enjoyed spending time fishing and working in her flower beds, and bird watching.

Irene is survived by her children, Shannon Bell, Janie Faulk (Carl), James Styles (Sherry); her grandchildren, Jake Faulk, Joseph Faulk, Nicholas Thompson, and Daniel Styles; and her nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, John Tolley, Dick Tolley, and Dewey Tolley.

In addition to her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by her grandson, James Richard “Jamie” Styles and numerous siblings.

Eastside Baptist Church will host a memorial service celebrating the life of Mrs. Irene on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at 6pm. The church is located at 318 N. Jones Ave. Rock Hill, SC 29730 and the service will be officiated by Rev. Nick Vinesett. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the home of daughter, Janie Faulk.
