Gerald Lee Kirk

Gerald Lee Kirk, age 87, of Sharon, SC passed away on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM at Sharon ARP Church located at 3914 York Street, Sharon, SC with Rev. Mark Miller and Rev. Calvin Draffin officiating. The burial will be held immediately after the service in the church cemetery.

Gerald was born on January 4, 1936, in Concord, NC to the late Robert Milton Kirk, Sr. and Lena Estelle Kiser Kirk.  He is a US Marine Corps Veteran serving in the Korean war.

Gerald is survived by his daughter, Micki Kirk Jeffries and son-in-law Sean Jeffries; his brother, Arnold Ray Kirk (Nancy); his grandchildren, Jessica Scarborough, James Kirk, Michael Kirk, Michaela Kirk, Paul Jeffries, and David Jeffries; his great grandson, Julian Scarborough; and his close friend David Minter and caregiver/friend Maggie Hemphill.

In addition to his parents, Gerald is preceded in death by his wife Dianna Taylor Kirk and his son, Robert William Kirk, and his siblings, Robert Milton Kirk, Jr. and Sharon McClellan.
