George Edwin Lockwood, III

Mr. George Edwin Lockwood, III, 71, of Sharon, SC died Friday, September 4, 2026, at his home.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday September 9, 2026 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy. York, SC. All other services will be private.

George was born in Putnam County, New York. He retired from the City of Carmel, NY as a police officer and firefighter.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Rae Lockwood; his children Jacquelyn Lockwood (Nicholas Tanner), Amanda Lockwood, Kayla Ray (James Ray), Taylor Dover (Robert Alexander); along with his grandchildren, Barrett, Cayden, Carson, Rae-Lynn and Jonah.
