George “Bill” William Klohr, 76, of Smyrna, SC passed away on November 11, 2021.
Bill was born on July 6, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH but called Smyrna, SC home. He was the son of the late George and Helena Klohr. He was a veteran of the US Navy during Vietnam where he served on the USS Forrestal and competed as a boxer. After serving his country, he began his life’s work as a Jack of all trades while taking pride as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He lived his life the way he wanted and left it on his terms. While he will be remembered as a fighter, his legacy will be helping those in need and putting their need before his. He is survived by his step-son, Mark Klohr and his wife, Denise, and five grandchildren: Carleton Klohr, Thomas Klohr, Madi Klohr, Ashley Vester, and Dylan Webster.
All services in the celebration of his life will be private among his friends and family.
