Gary E. Good

Due to ongoing medical issues, Mr. Gary Ervin Good, age 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home, located at 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2020 Hillcrest Rd, York, SC, officiated by Pastor Brad Vassey. Burial will follow at Beersheba Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Gary was born on March 12, 1961, in York, SC, to the late J. Henry Good and Joanna Jones Good. A dedicated and hardworking man, he owned and operated his own construction company, Henry Good Construction.

He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Beard Good, and his cherished children: Mandy Stephenson (Julie), Leann Faulkner (Stephen), Frank Shytle (Jackie), Amanda Shytle, and Ashley Shytle. He was a proud grandfather to Colton, Cameron, Chase, Natalie, Nathan, AJ, Ryleigh, Dre, Nija, Von, Isaiah, TJ, Mya, and Skylynn, and a great-grandfather to Summer.

Also left to cherish his memory are his brother, Keith Good (Dawn), and his nieces and nephews: John, Teresa, Brian, Andrea, Justin, and Whitney.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his sister, Genevieve Good, and his brother, Robert Good.
