Frank L. Hoffecker, Sr. 86, of Clover, SC, died Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Novant Health Presbyterian, Charlotte, NC.

The family will receive friends on Thursday September 25, 2025 from 12 noon until 1:30 PM at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church 323 N. Congress St., York, SC. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM with the Rev. Charles Aurand officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Filbert Hwy. York, SC. Military Honors will be performed by VFW Post 12136 Honor Guard.

Frank was born November 9, 1938 in Laurens, SC the son of the of the late Frank V. Hoffecker and Martha Deitrick Hoffecker. He was the former husband of the late Gloria F. Hoffecker. He was a member of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, and retired from Bell South as a Transmission Engineer. He graduated from N. C. State University, and was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He also was a member of Masonic Philanthropic Lodge #32 in York, SC, 3rd degree Knights Templar. He was also in the Bible Study Group (BSF) at First Baptist Church in Matthews, NC for 15 years and also a member of the Eagle Wings Motorcycle Association.

He is survived by his wife Verlene Huntley Hoffecker, his son, Frank Hoffecker, Jr (Judy), step children, Jeff Price (Angie), and Jennifer Eggerichs (Mike). Also, his siblings Charles Hoffecker, and Janice Willis. His grandchildren, Frank William Hoffecker, Katherine Connor (Jimmy), step grandchildren, Haley Little (Christian), Christopher Eggerichs, and Caleb Eggerichs, his step grandchildren, Cynthia Fleenor (Danny), Tabatha Montgomery (Bobby), and Eric Ivey. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Darrin Lingerfelt, Callista Hoffecker, Lakin Hoffecker, David Rowland, and Brianna Clack (Joshua Ramsey), step great grandchildren, McKayla Bennehoff, Cameron Fleenor, Landon Ivey, MaKenzie Redmond, Lukas Redmond, Kailyn Ivey, Caidence Ivey, Everette Ivey and Owen Ivey. Also surviving is his great-great grandson Coleson Ramsey.

Memorial may be made to Abiding Presence Lutheran Church Building Fund, 323 N. Congress St., York, SC 29745.
