Francis P. Stepko, Sr.

Francis Paul Stepko Sr. of York, South Carolina; passed away on November 4, 2024 at CaroMont Regional in Gastonia.

The family will be having a private service on December 7th, 2024.

Frank was born March 17, 1943 in Paris, Texas to Bertha and John Higgins. Frank married his sweetheart Molly Ann Orrick in Kingston Oklahoma at St. Mary’s Church on 5.1.1965. They settled in New Jersey where they raised three daughters and 2 sons before settling in York SC in 1989. They were married for over 50 years before his wife Molly passed away in 2017. A man of many talents, Francis worked as a plumber for many years, a truck driver and loved to build things from scratch with his hands and loved going to the Dollar Tree.

Frank is survived by his; three daughters and sons-in-law, Denise Maria and Charles Maria, Shawn

Quetel and Ron Quetel, Renae Morrell and James Morrell; his son Walter Stepko and wife

Michelle; his  brother, Walter Stepko and wife Patricia, two sisters; Linda Dolinskas and husband Thomas, niece Michelle Ferdinand and husband Geoff, Mary Lowe and Husband Edward, Nieces Rosemary and Yvonne; Nephew Joseph Dellbeni; grandchildren, Alexandra, Jonathan, Thomas, Molly, Erich, Margaret, Zachary, Amanda, Alyssa, Isabella; great grandchildren, Macey, Tucker and Harlow and a close family friend, Denise Tom-Deese. Frank also has a big extended family in Dennison and Dallas Texas on his wife’s side.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Francis Paul Stepko, Jr.
