Felmer Lonzo Lynn

Mr. Felmer Lonzo “Pete” Lynn, 79, of York, SC died on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 12, 2026 with Reverand Den Parker officiating at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church, 5780 Allison Creek Rd, York, SC 29745. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 P.M before the service.

Pete was born on January 26, 1947 in Kings Mountain, NC to the late Bill Lynn and Jennie Errwood Lynn. He was a retired accountant for John Deere Company and a member of Allison Creek Presbyterian Church. After retiring from John Deere, he began his own lawn care business and continued it for 25 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed shag dancing.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bill Lynn and Jennie Errwood Lynn; and his sister Rebecca Lynn Nash (Thomas) along with his nephew Thomas Nash. He is survived by his wife Nina Jackson Lynn; his daughter Shannon Lynn Brown (Chuckie); his grandchildren Darby Lynn Adams and Caroline Elizabeth Adams; and his sister Barbara Lynn Starnes (Don) along with his niece Mary Y. Starnes and his nephews; Johnny Nash and Danny Nash.
