Esther (McCammon) Pennington

Ms. Martha Esther McCammon Whitesides Pennington, age 78, of Fort Mill, SC passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Esther was born on January 14, 1946 in Fort Mill, SC. She was the daughter of the late Jack T. McCammon and Alice “Tillie” Bennett McCammon and was the widow of Roger Pennington. Esther worked and retired in the textiles industry and was a member of Fort Mill Church of Nazarene.

Esther is survived by her daughter, Carrie Joyce (George); her sons, Tony Whitesides, Jack Whitesides, and Wayne Whitesides; her nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Jackie Zissel (Pascal) and her many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.
