YORK – Edna Lorraine Rupert Painter, 89, of York, SC passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Hospital in Gastonia, NC.

Edna was born on May 6, 1932 in Byron, NY. She was the daughter of the late Amos G. Rupert and Helen Clarbelle Downs Rupert. She is survived by her husband George Wallace Painter of York, SC, daughters, Darlene Leary of York, SC, Antoinnette Loiacono of Buffalo, NY, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Cordola.
