Dorothy Lee (Thomas) Love Berry

Dorothy “Dot” Lee Thomas Love Berry, age 95, of Rock Hill, S.C. peacefully passed away at home with her family at her side, on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Visitation will be on Tuesday September 12, 2023, at 10:00 am at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 1184 North Shiloh Rd., York, SC. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Dr. John White and Rev. Tom McPhail officiating. Interment will follow in Laurelwood Cemetery, 143 Laurel St, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Dot was an elementary school teacher in the York County Schools, a member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church where she was an elder emeritus.

She was the daughter of the late Bardwell H. Thomas and Ollie Lee Castles Thomas.

She is survived by her children, Kay Nivens (Kenneth), Billy Love (Debbie), Bill Berry (Rose), Rhyne Mongomery (Morgan) and Chris Frame (Stan). And her grandchildren Kenna Urso, Chase Nivens, Kimberly Johnson, Allen Johnson, Meredith Love, Dani Berry, and Kasey Frame, along with 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Dot was preceded in death by her husbands, William T. Love and William E. Berry, her granddaughter, Sharon Kay Love and her sister Rebecca Chambers.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beth Shliloh Presbyterian Church, 1184 North Shiloh Rd. York, SC 29745.
