Dorothy (Montgomery) Good

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Montgomery Good, age 86, of York, SC passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Temple Presbyterian Church, 1105 N. Beersheba Rd., Clover, SC. The funeral service will be held the following day at 2:00 pm at Temple Presbyterian Church with Rev. W. Gregory Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Beersheba Cemetery Association Cemetery, 134 S. Beersheba Rd., Clover, SC.

Dot was born on November 22, 1937 in Gaffney, SC. She was the daughter of the late Zan Davis Montgomery and Pauline Spencer Montgomery. Dot was a member of Temple Presbyterian Church and retired from the Bank of York.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Boyd (Alvin), Davis Good (Sharon), Jimmy Good (Charity), and Barbara Brunson (John). Also surviving are her sisters, Patsy Fields, Brenda Brandon, and Guynelle Feemster; along with her 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Earl S. Good.
