Debbie Alt

Mrs. Deborah Wilkes Alt, age 76 of York, SC passed away at her home on Thursday, May 9th, 2024.

Debbie was born on August 5th, 1947 in Gainesville, GA. She was the daughter of the late Richard Wilkes and Margaret Maddox Wilkes. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed every moment spent with her family. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in York, SC.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bobby Alt; her sons, Douglas Alt (Adrienne) and John Alt (Crystal); her daughter-in-law, Theresa Alt; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Ashley, and Danielle and her great grandson, Wyatt Thomas. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Michael Alt.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at Union Baptist Church, 1945 Ratchford Rd. York, SC 29745, with the Reverend Ray Long and Reverend Thomas Broom officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
