David John Burbach, Sr.

David John Burbach, Sr.  68, passed away on May 3, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bratton Funeral Home, located at 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC, with Pastor Matt Burrell officiating. Military Honors will be rendered by the VFW Post 12136 Honor Guard to conclude the service.

David was born on March 22, 1957, in Cuba City, Wisconsin. He was the son of Lawrence Burbach and Marilyn Simon Baker. He was a self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by his children, David John Burbach, Jr. (Amy), Angie Sisk Faile (Wayne), Shannon Lawrence, and his bonus son, Josh Dorsett (Jessica). Also surviving are his grandchildren, Alston Burbach, Bryton Burbach, Alexia Sigmon, and Trevor Faile; and his brothers, Don Burbach and Duane Burbach. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Burbach.
