Coy Latham Obituary

Edward McCoy Latham, “Coy” passed away at his home on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

Coy was born on November 4, 1947 in York, SC. He was the son of the late Jeptha McKnight Latham and Christeen Jackson Latham and the widower of Mamie Denise Patterson Latham. Coy worked for 30+ years for REA in the construction field. He was very well known and active in the Cottonbelt Community.

Coy is survived by his daughters, Crystal Harbst (Darren), Wendy Hyatt, grandchildren: Colbey Hyatt, Mason Hyatt, Jake Harbst, Garrett Harbst, and Shelby Harbst. He is also survived by his sisters, Minnie Davis and Debbie Latham. In addition to his parents and wife, Coy was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Latham, Sr.

The family will receive friends starting at 1 pm on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the home, 237 Matlock Dr. York, SC 29745.
