Clyde Mansel Burns

Mr. Clyde Mansel Burns, 78 of York, SC passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday February 7, 2026 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745.  Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post 12136 Honor Guard following the service.

Clyde was born in York County, SC on August 25, 1947. He was the son of the late Henry Burns and Mae Sealy Burns and the husband of Glenda Mabry Burns. He was a member of the York Church of God and a proud US ARMY veteran who served our country in Vietnam.

In addition to his wife Glenda, he is survived by his children, Casey Brannon Burns (Gina), and Stacy Ranetta Burns. His brother Earl Burns, 2 grandchildren, Kayla Burns and Austyn Burns and 1 great grandchild, Kyliee Rose.

In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Carter and Grace Shillinglaw, his brothers, Grady Burns and W.D. Burns.
