Cathy Marie (Harlow) Brindle

Mrs. Cathy Marie Harlow Brindle, age 65, of York, SC, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at her home.

A memorial service celebrating Cathy’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the family home, 2230 Ashe Rd., York, SC 29745.

Cathy was a Valentine’s Day baby, born on February 14, 1960, in York, SC. She was the daughter of the late Aaron Harlow and Irene Parker Harlow. Cathy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose heart was faithful to the Lord and devoted to her family. Her home and heart were always open to anyone in need. She was a devoted wife to her husband, and those who knew her understood that beneath her good-natured “nagging” was a deep and unwavering love for him.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Larry Brindle, Sr.; her daughters, Loretta (Robbie), Crystal, and Kathy; and her son, Larry Brindle, Jr. (Kristen). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amber (Kyle), David (Mikayla), Jasmine, Deman, Skylar, and Roman; her great-grandchildren, Nova, Braxton, Kinsley, Kayden, Shelby, and Kyler; and her sisters, Brenda Doster, Diane McCraw, and Lois Dover.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, James Parker, and her sisters, Mable Bratton and Lily Mae Reed.
