Catherine Urseline (Clark) Bradley

Catherine Urseline Clark Bradley, 70, of York, SC passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Catherine was born on November 30, 1952, in Pascagoula, MS. She was the daughter of the late Laurendine and Julia Mae Stigletts Clark. Catherine received an associate’s degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and won first place for her campus for the Miss Mississippi pageant.  After marrying her husband Mark, the couple eventually moved to York, SC where they built their dream home - a log cabin.  Catherine performed a variety of office managerial jobs during her life.  She was also an avid singer, and loved to play the guitar.  Known as the Green Star Duo, she and Mark spent many years performing music throughout the Southeast at various locations.  In their retirement, they spent their winters in the Florida Everglades, enjoying nature and continuing to perform various musical gigs.  Catherine was also a lover of flowers, and planted many gardens throughout her life. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Lee Bradley, Sr. She is survived by her son Mark Lee Bradley, II as well as her siblings Lauren Clark, Harry Frank Clark, and Lucille Worrell.

A memorial service will be held for Catherine at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Bratton Funeral Home Chapel, 1455 Filbert Highway, York, SC with Pastor Matt Burrell officiating.
