Carol Ann (Hodges) Thomas

Mrs. Carol Ann Hodges Thomas, age 69, of York, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.

The graveside service will be 2 PM on Monday April 13, 2026 at Kings Mountain Methodist Church Cemetery, 1125 Philbeck Road York, SC 29745 officiated by Rev. Jeff Long.

Carol was born on February 7, 1957, in Baltimore, Md. She was the daughter of the late Aden Lewis Hodges and Lessie Elizabeth Young Hodges. Carol was a master gardener, a registered member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Everett Thomas, her children, Wesley Thomas (Shannon), Lee Ann Gemeinhart (Ernie) and her grandson Logan Gemeinhart.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister Deborah Lynn Hodges Stewart.
