Carol Lee Motley

Carol Lee Brown Motley, 80, of York, SC passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 peacefully at her home.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy York, SC 29745. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly with Pastor Lewis Gunn officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Carol was born on January 28, 1942 in Higgins, MI. She was the daughter of the late Ned Oliver Brown and Josephine Wardell Brown and was the widow of Leo John Motley, Jr. Carol was a member of Lake Wylie Christian Assembly in Lake Wylie, SC.

Carol is survived by her children: Glenn Motley (Teresa Loggins), Brenda Remer, Raymond Motley (Donna), and Zsonnea Montgomery (Darel); grandchildren: Scott Remer, Joshua Remer, Justin Motley, Brandon Motley, Courtney Montgomery, and Carol Montgomery; and great grandchildren, Lillian Motley, Bryson Bunch, and Daxton Johansen. Carol is also survived by her brother, Ned Brown, Jr.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Tice, and her brothers, Jerry, Doyle, Kenny and Dale Brown.
