Camilla “Cam” Sybil Holt Aloia, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Spring Oak in York, SC.
Cam was born on January 30, 1931, in Washington, D.C., to the late Raymond Holt and Sybil Paramore Moore. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas “Nick” Aloia. Throughout her career, Cam worked as an upholstery cutter and had the unique opportunity to contribute to the production of seat cushions for a space shuttle.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Anita Aloia; her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa Aloia Glass and Angela Stokes (Garrett); and her great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Stokes and Sierra Stokes. She is also survived by her stepbrother, Franklin Moore (Cheryl).
In addition to her husband and parents, Cam was preceded in death by her son, William Grady Aloia, and her grandson, Billy Aloia, Jr.
An interment will take place in Gotha, FL, where Cam will be laid to rest beside her husband, Nick. Service details will be shared once finalized.
