Bud Rumfelt, Jr.

Bud Rumfelt, Jr. 82 of York, SC passed away May 7, 2025, at his home in York.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Bratton Funeral Home, located at 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745 with Rev. Chris Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Bud was born November 22, 1942 in Kings Mountain, N.C. He was the son of the late Bud Rumfelt, Sr. and Mary Essie Jackson Rumfelt and he was married to the late Betty Cabe Rumfelt.

He is survived by his son Randy Rumfelt; his grandchildren, Steven Rumfelt, Amber Rumfelt, Drew Rumfelt and A J Rumfelt. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Ariel McKeown, Kathleen Hinson, Megan Rumfelt, Madison Rumfelt and Ryan Wilson-Rumfelt; and his siblings, Pinkney Rumfelt, Jimmy Rumfelt, Virginia “Pic” Ballard (Chris).

In addition to his parents and wife, Bud was predeceased by his son Bobby Rumfelt and numerous siblings.
