Brenda (Wallace) Peterson

Mrs. Brenda Wallace Peterson, age 81, of York, SC passed away at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House on Wednesday, October 17th, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Monday, October 21st, 2024 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy., York, SC. The funeral service will begin at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Shuford and Rev. Adam Laster officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in York, SC.

Brenda was born on June 4th, 1943 in York, SC. She was the daughter of the late Paul G. Wallace and Mamie Ramsey Wallace.  She is survived by her children, Leon Peterson (Mary) and Randy Peterson (Lyndsey) along with her grandchildren, Gabe Peterson and Ellie Peterson.   Also surviving are her siblings, Ann Childers and Roger Wallace. 

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Darvin Peterson and siblings, Francis Varnadore, Shirley Wallace, and Ellis Wallace.
