Obituary
Brenda Foster McNeely, age 81, of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on May 16, 2023, at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC.
Brenda was born on September 10, 1941, in Spartanburg, SC. She was the daughter of the late James Leslie Ogden and Thelma Rogers Foster. Brenda was a member of Norman’s Grove Baptist Church in Lawndale, NC.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude McNeely.
Brenda is survived by her step children, Yvonne Adams (David), Leonard McNeely (Kelley), and Steve McNeely (Dianne), as well as 7 step grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Norman’s Grove Baptist Church located at 206 Carpenter’s Grove Road Lawndale, NC 28090 on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Nunn and Rev. Chris Decker officiating. A reception will be held immediately after the service in the fellowship hall.
Memorials can be made in Brenda’s name to Norman’s Grove Baptist Church at the address listed above or to The Gideons International at P.O. 1093 York, SC.
