Brenda Gayle (Crawford) Birle

Mrs. Brenda Gayle Crawford Birle, age 68, of York, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. A memorial service celebrating Brenda’s life will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor James Lingerfelt.

Brenda was born on December 15, 1957 in Anderson, SC. She was the daughter of the late Fred Clinton Crawford, Sr. and Rebecca Janet Todd Crawford, she was the wife of the late John Morgan Birle.  

She is survived by her daughter; Angie Allen (Matt), her grandchildren, Josh Allen, and Leann Allen, her great granddaughter Saylor Allen; along with her siblings; Fred Crawford (Loretta), Todd Crawford (Karen), Rita Hisey (Allan), Fredda Wilson (Don), Debbie Stephens (Steve), Becky Byrum, Melanie Taylor (Donnie), David Crawford (Nita) and Roy Crawford (Tammy).

In addition to her parents and husband, Brenda was preceded in death by her son J R McMillian.
