Mr. Bobby Dean Queen, age 75, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Heath Springs Residential Living in Heath Springs, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Highway, York, SC 29745. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Bobby was born on April 19, 1951, in Bryson City, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Joseph Lee Queen and Betty Hicks Queen. Bobby worked as a mechanic alongside his brother, Jackie, at Queen's Garage in York, South Carolina. His passion was always two wheels and the open road. A devoted Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he owned several motorcycles throughout his life and enjoyed every opportunity to ride. Bobby also cherished the quiet moments spent with his dogs and is survived by his beloved fur baby, Ginger.
Bobby is survived by his children, Joey Queen (Lisa), Wendy Helms (David), Bobby Queen (Laura), and Deanna Cook (Mark); his grandchildren, Morgan Neese (Garin), Dylan Queen, David Godwin, Austin Helms (Kimberly), Dustin Helms, Jacob Helms (Brandie), Bryson Queen, Daisey Chevalier, Payton Best and Paisley Queen; five great-grandchildren, with one more expected soon; and his siblings, Jackie Queen, Ronnie Queen, Alice Kiser (Bruce), and Deborah Meek.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Queen, and his sisters, Darlene Dover and Patricia White.
