Bobby Ashley

Mr. Robert Guy Ashley, II, known to all as “Bobby,” passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at WakeMed Raleigh Campus in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Born on February 2, 1969, in York County, South Carolina, Bobby was the son of the late Robert “Bob” Ashley and Jean Bratton Ashley. A man of many talents, he owned and operated his own drilling company. Bobby loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time fishing, shooting, and embracing nature.

He is survived by his children, Jeremy Sutherland (Kayla), Bailey Watson, and Chandler Watson; his grandchildren, Riley Sutherland, Bodie Watson and Morgan Holland; and his sister, Robin Johnston (Eric).

In accordance with Bobby's wishes, all services will be held privately.
