Betty (Boyd) Singletary

Betty Boyd Singletary, 83, of York, SC, died, October 2, 2025 peacefully at her home with her family by her side.

The family will receive friends on Monday October 6, 2025 from 1 PM until 2 PM at Bullock Creek Cowboy Church, 1212 Edgefield Rd, York, SC 29745. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM with Rev. Larry Nunn and Rev. Jerry Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Filbert Hwy. York, SC.  

Betty was born February 16, 1942 in York County, SC the daughter of the late Woodrow C. Boyd and Frances Parrott Boyd.  She was a member of Bullock Creek Cowboy Church in York, SC. She lived life to the fullest!  She loved with her whole heart and made everyone feel like family.  She loved to be on the go, seeing new things and having adventures. 

Betty is survived by her husband, Robert B. Singletary, her children David Singletary, Sheila Moneypenny (Robert), and Crystal S. Miller (Chris), her grandchildren, Conner Bolin, Cassie Miller, Collin Miller, McKenzie Miller, Megan Thompson, Robert Moneypenny, and Ryan Moneypenny, along with 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Evelyn Caveny and Janet Dover (Billy), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
