Obituary
Joyce Boyter Jenkins, age 80, of York, SC passed away on May 4, 2023, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
Joyce was born on March 11, 1943, in Spartanburg County, SC. She was the daughter of the late Leland Boyter and Betty Miller Boyter. She was a member of First Baptist Church in York, SC and retired as a broker/realtor. She volunteered for Tender Hearts for 14 years accumulating over 4,000 hours, and as a result recently received the president’s award for service.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 65 years, Billy Max Jenkins, her daughter, Lisa Krystynak (Leo) and grandsons, Joseph Bolin and Max Bolin, along with 4 greatgrandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Joyce on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church located at 102 South Congress Street, York, SC with Pastor James Knight officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church parlor.
