Obituary
Betty Darlene Clifton Tate Batchelder, age 94, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Rock Hill Post Acute Care Center in Rock Hill, SC.
Betty was born on November 6, 1928 in Shawnee, OK. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Joseph Clifton and Grace Hopkins Clifton and was the widow of her first husband, John Bruce Tate and her second husband, David Batchelder. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater, OK.
Betty is survived by her children, Ronald Gregg Tate (Kathy) of Howard, OH, Cynthia Lynn Blackburn (David) of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren: Jacob Blackburn, Thomas Blackburn, Rachel Blackburn, and Joseph Blackburn; and her great grandchildren: Ava and Torah Blackburn, Abby Blackburn, and Cameron Rodriguez.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Saundra Sue Tate Baldwin Kuepper.
A burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater, OK at a later date.
