Obituary
Ms. Betty Jean Dorsett Allen, age 71, of York, SC passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill, SC.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy York, SC. The funeral service will begin in the funeral home chapel at 2 pm with Pastor Dusty Brackett officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in York.
Betty was born on August 9th, 1951 in York, SC. She was the daughter of the late Robert Daniel Dorsett and Annie Mildred Robinson Dorsett. She is survived by her son, Eddie Allen; her grandchildren, Bayleigh Allen, Savanna Allen, and Ryleigh Allen; her four great grandchildren: Kaylani, Zylilah, Zykhaza, and Zylahm; and her siblings: Robert Dorsett, Johnny Dorsett, Marian Burbach, Diane Randall, and Vera Wilson.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Dorsett and Phillip Dorsett.
