Barbara Dale (White) Freeze

Mrs. Barbara Dale Freeze, age 86, of York, SC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on February 8th, 1939 in York, SC, Dale was the daughter of the late Bradford White and Dorothy Alderman White and the widow of Ted Mason Freeze. Dale was retired from Fieldcrest Cannon as a supply room supervisor and was a member of Bible Covenant Community Church.

She is survived by her children Edward Mark Freeze and Patricia Freeze Anderson (Troy, Sr.). She is also survived by her grandchildren Troy Richard Anderson, Jr. (Lindsey), Mathew Dale Anderson, and her great grandson, Logan Troy Michael Anderson. Along with her beloved nieces and nephews, including Brent Girard (Robbie), Kinsey Doster (Jake), Luke Doster, Libby Girard (Billy), Steve McElroy (Brenda), Susan McElroy, Terry Jenkins (Eva), Eva Jenkins, Meredith Rodriguez (Oscar), Stephanie Howe (Will), George Howe and special friends, Jean and Tommy Kimble and Frances Nivens.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Dale was preceded in death by her son Michael Ted Freeze, and her siblings, Evelyn Doris Jenkins, Wilma Joyce McElroy, and Louis Bradford White.

A service to celebrate Dale’s life will be announced at a later date.
