Mrs. Barbara Ann Reinhardt Falls, age 92, of York, SC, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Spring Oak of York.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Liberty St., York, SC 29745, with Reverend Nick Setzer officiating. The family will receive friends in the church parlor following the service. Burial will be held privately.
Barbara was born on November 12, 1933, in Rock Hill, SC. She was the daughter of the late Jacob William Reinhardt and Ora Thrailkill Reinhardt Rescigno.
Barbara dedicated her life to the service of others through her calling in nursing. Throughout her career, she compassionately cared for patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, physicians’ offices, private homes, schools, and industrial environments. Whether offering comfort at the bedside, supporting families in times of need, or tending to the well-being of children and workers, Barbara found deep purpose in every role she held. She was profoundly grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those she served, and her kindness, skill, and unwavering commitment will be remembered by all who knew her.
A woman of strong faith, she was a devoted member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church of Camden, SC and then First Presbyterian Church of York.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Robert “Bob” Lee Falls; her daughters, Angela Falls Pratt (Paul), Lynn Falls Morgan (Tony), and Alison Falls Churm (Steve); her grandchildren, Bobby Pratt, Paul William Pratt, Lauren Cole, Ashley Ikerd, Anna Brooks Holcomb, William Churm, and Townsend Lee Morgan, Jr.; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, William “Bobo” Boyd Reinhardt, and her sisters, Mary Ruth Reinhardt Smith and Betty Jewel Reinhardt Jenkins.
