Ann (Funderburk) Messer

Leta Ann Funderburk Messer, 74, of York, SC went to her heavenly home on Monday, September 27, 2021.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, 5766 Charlotte Hwy Lake Wylie, SC 29710. The funeral service will be the following day, Saturday, October 2, 2021, 11 am, at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly with the Reverend Lewis Gunn officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Ann was born on August 1, 1947 in Mt. Holly, NC. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow Jackson Funderburk and Eva Irene Morris Funderburk and was the widow of Paul Adams Messer. She was a devoted member and secretary to Lake Wylie Christian Assembly in Lake Wylie, SC.

Ann is survived by her children: Ricky Cogdell, Lisa Bradshaw and her husband Richard, Ernest Cogdell, III and his wife Jodie; grandchildren: CJ and his wife Katie, Chip, Kyle, Abbey, Hunter, Laney, Kayleigh, Rick, Brian, Dwayne; two great  grandchildren, Makayla and Hadleigh, brothers, Wayne Funderburk and his wife Carol, Jack Funderburk and his wife Jeanine, and sister Drew Johnson; nieces, Denise, Debbie, Christi, Heather, Charli, Samantha, Sophie; nephews, Mark and Riley.
