In Loving Memory of Angela Lawson Kellett
February 25, 1968 – March 17, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Angela Lawson Kellett, who died peacefully at her home on March 17, 2026. She was surrounded by the warmth and comfort of her loving family and friends in her final days.
Born at Gaston Memorial Hospital on February 25, 1968, Angela was the daughter of the late Dennis and Linda Hope Lawson. A lifelong resident of Clover, SC, Angela was a 1986 graduate of Clover High School and a devoted "Blue Eagle". After high school, Angela went on to attend the University of South Carolina, Columbia. As a proud “Gamecock", she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and went on to have a successful career servicing her tax clients as the owner of Carolina Tax and Financial Group. Angela was a member of First Baptist Church of Clover.
While Angela achieved many successes in her short life, her greatest joy was the time spent loving and supporting "her girls," her great-nephew, Jaxton, and her grandson, Lawson.
Angela is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert Kellett; their daughters, Savannah Kellett Church (Jacob) of Conway, SC, and Emma Kellett Yeager (Jacob) of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by her sister, Anita Lawson Pocci; her niece, Eva Angeline Pocci; her brother, Justin Parker (Courtney); her great-nephew, Jaxton Parker; and her beloved grandson, Lawson Thomas Church.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church Cemetery in York, SC, where Angela will be laid to rest beside her mother. Services are being supported by Bratton Funeral Home of York, SC. The family will be available immediately following the service for a time that family and friends may pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angela’s name to the Clover High School Class of 1986.
